Where did the love go… That was the question that kept going through my head. I did love him and he loved me, so why were we being so mean to each other? We needed to get love back in our relationship and spend some time learning how to respect each other and our relationship. It is just so easy to learn how to take advantage of one another and once those bad habits are in place it seems next to impossible to break them. But now what do we do… How do we find each other again? Is it really possible to get love back and rediscover what it was about each other that brought us together in the first place?

We had grown so far apart and we had been fighting and bickering with each other for a long time. I new it would have been easier to just walk away from the situation and try to meet somebody new. But that was the easy answer not the right one. I loved this man once and I knew that if we could get love back into our relationship that it would be worth all of the hard work.
As we all know the divorce rate in this country is at record levels and that indicates that people are more willing to give up on their relationships than ever. I learned that our communication had broken down and we were not hearing each other anymore. Over time we just stopped listening to what the other had to say. In order to make this work we needed to put our relationship way up on our priority lists and give it all of the attention that it deserved.
